The excitement is building as plans are rolling along for this year’s convention. We are pleased to be a part of bringing you fun filled times in one of our country’s most beautiful areas. We will be in Pigeon Forge, TN in the heart of The Great Smokey Mountains during one of the most beautiful times of the year.
We will kick off the festivities Friday evening with a Welcome Hors D’ Oeuvres Reception, getting acquainted and viewing the treasures members have brought to sell or share. Saturday morning it’s rise and shine for a buffet breakfast together before heading out to explore. Saturday evening we come back together to attend a special event dinner and show. After which, we return to the Holiday Inn Conference Room for the always popular Florence Bingo with bingo master Jay Houser presiding. After a well needed rest we will meet for our Sunday morning buffet breakfast followed by the Annual Meeting and our closing time together with a silent auction and time for any final purchases. The sales tables will be open all weekend for your convenience.
In addition to the great food, fun activities and renewal of friendships, the area is filled with points of interest for everyone’s tastes. Within a ten mile drive you can visit antique malls, Smokies Art & Craft Community in Gatlinburg, as well as a large Gatlinburg Craft Fair. Dollywood theme park is near by, or how about some outlet mall shopping. Perhaps you would enjoy a beautiful 30 mile color tour through the mountains on your way to Harrah’s Casino located in Cherokee, N.C. in the heart of the Cherokee Indian nation.
There will be fun and prizes and surprises throughout the weekend. We invite you to come early or extend your visit so you can experience it all. We would love to have everyone join us at this year’s 2007 FloraGanza.

Our meeting schedule includes plenty of time for interaction with fellow collectors, and lots of opportunities to buy and sell Florence Ceramics!
Our meeting ALWAYS gives us a chance to meet new collectors and members as well as renew old friendships.
Friday, October 12th 4-6:00 pm: Set up for Sales Tables
6-10:00 pm: Check-in & Welcome Reception-
featuring an Hors D’Oeuvre Buffet, Networking and Viewing/Buying at Sales Tables.
Saturday, October 13th 8:00 am: Breakfast Buffet -
And then we kick off a day of Antique & Craft shopping and seeing the sights in the area.
Saturday Evening Dinner Banquet & Show – Afterward we will return to the hotel for Florence Bingo headed by Bingo master Jay Houser. Prizes, surprises and a good time are guaranteed.
Sunday, October 14th 8:00 am: Breakfast Buffet-
Followed by the Annual FCCS Business Meeting, Silent Auction, and a chance to make some last minute buys from the sales tables.

We have booked a block of rooms for members to reserve. Please call the hotel and ask for the special Florence Ceramics Convention (Florence Collectors) rate of $109.99 per night plus tax.
There are also other Motels/Hotels in the area available if the block becomes sold out.
If you are flying in, please note you will fly into Knoxville, TN airport ( symbol “TYS”). Pigeon Forge is about 25 miles east of the airport.
There will be fun and surprises throughout the weekend.
